MICHELA MANGANI

Forme del fuoco e dell’acqua

11 - 24 October 2020

Opening 10th October 2020 at 18:00 hrs.

The Exhibition

Michela Mangani, an artist with great pictorial ability, works on paper with the most difficult techniques: watercolor and fire. Her works offer the possibility, to the observer, to embark on an exciting journey towards a spatiality with attenuated contours that fades towards infinity, to let us guess and glimpse the echoes of a lived reality.

The approach is consumed in the duration of a gesture, because the techniques that the artist prefers do not allow for uncertainty, regret or even withstand the wear and tear of underlining, repetitions and marks. The colors are expertly guided on the paper through contrasting shades. With fire, relying on her artistic intuition and the emotional state of the moment, Mangani manages to dig the material of the paper to open a passage, where the visual effects obtained with liquids are found. The artist confirms a proven technical ability.
