The Exhibition
After a long period dedicated to curating and organizing exhibitions for other artists, Stefania Vecchi returns to letting her work "talk" about itself with a series of artworks created specifically in 2023 for this exhibition. She faces an introspection path regarding the deepest subconscious and her own intimacy in which she talks about Shadows and Imprints .
The exhibition catalog is embellished by the formidable intervention of Alberto Casiraghy's aphorisms handwritten specifically for these works.
The Artist
Stefania Vecchi was born in Fusignano (Ravenna) on August 22, 1960. She attended the Art School of Ravenna "Pier Luigi Nervi" and the Academy of Fine Arts in Ravenna, painting course, under the guidance of prof. Umberto Folli. She is a teacher of arts in the State School, curator of artistic, exhibition and editorial projects.
She has collaborated with public and private entities dealing with curating and organizing exhibitions; curatorship of bibliographic records and exhibition itineraries; organization, management and teaching of painting, drawing and engraving courses. She distinguished herself in the sector of artist books also.
Since 1982 she has participated in solo and group exhibitions, both in Italy and abroad.
